Octocon

I helped run an annual two-day Science Fiction Convention, called Octocon, for 4 years (1993-1996). For the last two years I was Chairperson and (in conjunction with the committee) helped organise events, schedule guests, solict funds and advertising. I pesonally edited, produced, and wrote the programme booklet. I also oversaw the work of the other committee members, and made sure the convention ran to a budget.
